Dr. Alvin Wong is Senior Program Manager at the Institute of Impact Strategy at The D. H. Chen Foundation, where he leads philanthropic initiatives focused on strengthening capacity in the nonprofit sector. His work spans diverse areas including healthcare and medical research, mental health, and positive values education.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Dr. Wong served as a health education specialist and lecturer at the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he taught courses in health education, health behaviors, and program evaluation.

Dr. Wong holds a Doctorate in Public Health from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at the University of Florida. He has also contributed to World Health Organization publications on mental health and substance use policy.
