HELP continues to empower Indonesian domestic workers

Since November 2016 HELP has empowered almost 3,000 Indonesian domestic workers, through our “Outreach Program,” working with the Indonesian Consulate.

The program is driven by our Indonesian Case Manager Betty Wagner who provides information to newly arrived Indonesian domestic workers on their legal and civil rights.

Through the program we have seen domestic workers grow in confidence and gain an understanding of their legal rights, in turn making them more likely to reach out to HELP to seek advice when they detect something is not right with their employment contract or working situation.

We would like to thank the Indonesian Consulate for allowing us to share our knowledge with the Indonesian domestic workers as part of their “Welcome Program”.
